Well we got our first assignment here... to design our own boutique. How awesome is that? So our professor took us to see the boutique that he wanted us to redesign, it is in a very trendy area of Paris and has some of the cheaper shops like Zara and H&M nearby. Well I have obviously already decided to fill my boutique with pleated skirts, printed dresses, beige blazers and gold vintage jewelry. Here are some pictures of the engraved door, the windows, and the area in general.
My next class... my professor, also a designer for Chanel, talked all about the luxury brands of Paris. BUT then he went on to show us some of the jewelry he had designed for Chanel. THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL - I DIED. I took lots of pictures, but we are not allowed to put them on the internet?? And now I am off to go dress models backstage for the Alexandre Vauthier show and then tonight we are all going to Julien Fournie's show since it is Paris Haute Couture week!!! EEEK!
