I just got home from a very long, but exciting day. First we got an awesome opportunity to dress the models backstage for Alexandre Vauthier. We were each assigned a model and waited backstage for 3 hours prepping for the show, it was mightyy hot. Some of the models were famous ones that I recognized from reading fashion magazines, oh and very very very skinny and tall, jeezz. The designer was super nice and we even got a picture with him! The main color he used was red throughout his new line, red lipstick, red jewelry, red nail polish- so much red. Once the actual show started up, it was complete chaos and basically you just had to get the next dress on your model as fast as you could (I was kinda nervous at first to be honest). I didn't get too many pictures unfortunately, but here are the ones I snagged from after the show.
And the final dress....

Then from there we went to see the Julien Fournie show and that was also fun. But as you all know, I am pretty short so it was kind of hard to see!! Anyways the show was cool, very funky stuff, nothing you would wear on a regular basis.. obviously.
And right before I left I took a photo of Coco&Breezy, who happened to be sitting in the front row! They are 20 year old accessory designers from MINNEAPOLIS, wahoo! And man do they got some serious style.
It was a wonderful day.. and boy oh boy did I learn a lot.
