Last night me and a couple of the girls went out to Rue Mouffetard, which is a long street filled with adorable bars and tons and tons of people. It was so much fun. Each bar also had outdoor seating which is a very common thing in Paris, they are always eating and drinking outside and probably doing some people watching too! There were literally people dancing throughout the streets and to top it off there was even a band playing live music with a dance floor and all! I would definitely recommend this area to anyone that is looking for a place to go out in Paris, I will surely be going again.
Then today we woke up and went to the local market to grab some food to have a picnic at the Luxembourg gardens! It was oh so Parisian of us. It is actually Bastille Day here, which is a French national holiday so we did not have class today and most people have work off too. I grabbed a salad and some Kinder Chocolat for my lunch... it was delicious. The garden is absolutely beautiful and very picture-esque. I know my mom would just LOVE it, I could definitely see her doing her morning walks throughout the gardens. Here are some photos of the Luxembourg.
